Skopelos pie (Galaktopita)
No report from Skopelos would be complete without an obligatory taverna scene. Here, Judy Watson (left) and Barbie Kjar are about to take delivery of a complimentary Skopelos pie and a plate of preserved fruits from the wonderful Maria, whose family run the island’s best lunch-time taverna, at Glysteri beach.
